Hoorah! Check out at this fat stack of quilt blocks that has accumulated in the last month - - -

These are happy, scrappy Drummer Boy Dresdens blocks, made by my bee mates in Comfort Circle of do. Good Stitches. I always look forward to my turn to lead our monthly charity quilt. It’s a treat to choose the creative direction and also such fun to receive their blocks in the mail.

Today was the big day! Time to see what we’ve created. I spread out the blocks to get a good look at our quilt-to-be. Bright colors and cute rays on a plethora of interesting low volume backgrounds - what’s not to love? It’s feeling warmer in here already.

I could make a small quilt with the amount of blocks I have received, but in this case bigger is better. I have lots of scraps that would like to play with this project. It’s “all colors in,” so anything goes, and that’s the ultimate scrap quilt in my opinion.
