The Craft Show Series: How I prepared for my first craft show. From inventory planning to pricing and booth design, with all the little details in between.
Scrap Challenges: 4 lucky readers get to try their hand at a custom scrap pack offered by one of my sponsors. In a few weeks, they report back with amazing creations. The only rules - use all the fabrics and only add one extra. Make anything you want! We're always inspired by what they create.

{Quilt-Alongs}
Colorbrick:
My first quilt-along based on my first ever quilt! This is a great
quilt for beginners. The quilt-along includes basic quilting skills
like using a rotary cutter, chain-piecing, basting, binding and
quilting.
Bottled Rainbows: It's time to do something fabulous with all your teeny tiny scraps! This ticker tape quilt along was so, SO much fun. Making the blocks is fairly addictive - fair warning!
Value Dance: Using value (light and dark fabrics) with intention will add depth to your quilt designs and fabric choices. Learn all about value via the Value Added Quilt-Along and find instructions to make my Value Dance quilt.
Penny Patch
- A detailed quilt-along perfect for beginners. The design is based on my Vintage Tangerine quilt from spring 2013 - a vintage-inspired classic! The main block in the quilt is the 4-penny patch, hence the name.
Clambake - Make a Clamshell Quilt any which way you like it. In this quilt along I demonstrate a Quilt-As-You-Go method for clamshells that yields an already-quilted, beautifully curvy quilt with finished raw edges (here's mine). I also provide options for alternative construction methods.
