Cascade Quilt Pattern
Cascade Quilt Pattern
Look closely and see how I've used color to highlight falling channels of pattern in this twist on the flying geese block. Cascade is so named for the shifting, spilling, directional flow of color. This quilt is created entirely with flying geese, simple rectangles and a few half square triangles at the edges.
Instructions include detailed cutting and piecing directions. Finishes as a 60" x 72" throw quilt.
This pattern is especially stunning in solids. Specific Kona colors are listed, so you may duplicate the quilt if desired. The pattern is suitable for a confident beginner or intermediate quilter. A detailed Flying Geese Skills Lab will walk you through correct piecing techniques.
This user-friendly quilt pattern provides step by step directions with over 20 helpful photographs, plus charts. Beyond making your quilt top, this pattern also includes directions for finishing your quilt.
