inspiration from Cambridge
Last week my boyfriend Aart and I were in Cambridge together for a very short getaway, our first trip together. It was a lovely time. Every day we strolled into the old town to explore shops, taste the local eateries and gaze at the stately old colleges that give Cambridge its fame. Thanks to a tip from a local reader (thanks, Lucy!) we also found ourselves off the beaten path in the greens behind the colleges. That was my favorite part! Here are some sights that inspired me in Cambridge.

stunning colors: a beguiling purple on old stone patina
dreamy Farrow & Ball colors for interiors
fan girl moment!
artful dining at The Ivy. Love this green!
another inspiring store front: pink, black and white.

Trinity College

Ice cream as roses

beauty Reflected all around us
The impressions of travel sink deep, its beauties reborn in another form in their good time.
