Kona Modern Quilts Giveaway!

Have you been curious about the Kona Modern Quilts collection?   It's that one by Cynthia Frenette that imitates wonky patchwork in kona solids.  So, basically, it's a collection of cheater prints for those who love solids!

My interest has been piqued but I wanted to see more. This is a collection I'd have loved to see in person, if only there were a modern quilt shop near bye!  When Tammy at Marmalade Fabrics offered to giveaway a bundle in the Pacific color story, I asked if she might take a few pictures to give us a better look...

Woa, did she deliver!  Thanks, Tammy, for giving us a better idea of this unusual collection. If you'd like to see more, Rita of Red Pepper Quilts recently finished a quilt in the pacific color story.  Mixing these funky prints into a quilt or other project definitely gives that cool, improv vibe without all the work.  In fact, maybe I should be making covered journals from something like this, eh?

All of Cynthia's Kona Modern Quilts color stories are made to coordinate with specific Kona colors.  Solids shown with the Pacific set are Tomato, Corn Yellow, Windsor and Lake.  Marmalade also has 145 Kona colors in stock, sold by the 1/2 yard and in special fat quarter bundles (like my old favorite, Bottled Rainbows, and the more recent Quilt Con bundle).

::Giveaway::

Marmalade Fabrics is awarding the Pacific bundle containing 1/2 yards of 6 prints from the Kona Modern Quilt Pacific Colorstory.  To enter to win I have a question for you!  When fabric shopping, do you make your selections from multiple collections, picking and choosing a little of this and a little of that, or do you tend to purchase prepared bundles instead?  Those bundles may be all from one collection or something already put together from misc. collections. Of course it probably varies, but which is more likely for you?  A la carte or bundles?

Giveaway closes Friday afternoon, the 20th.  Open to everyone, everywhere.  Good luck my friends!

And number 14 wins.  What a good number!  I'm contacting Miss Del now.  Thanks y'all for playing along.  I'm not sure that there is a consensus between a la carte or bundles, but we all sure know how to shop!
