::Voting:: Persimmons + Plums

I’m excited to share some warm, spicy mosaics you’ve created in response to the Persimmons + Plums mosaic contest. Even though combining purple and orange isn’t first nature to many of us, you made gorgeous fabric collections in response to this autumnal palette. Lovely connections were made to the night sky, while others bridged the gap between red and orange with a liberal infusion of red. Well done!

Today I've narrowed the submitted mosaics down to 10 finalists, choosing mosaics that spoke to me personally as a good fit for our prompt.  If yours didn't get chosen, it probably should have. Remember, it's a totally subjective process!

Enjoy perusing these fabric mosaics from Winter Creek Cloth. I've presented them first at large size, with the name of the artist under each mosaic when available. If your mosaic is listed here without artist attribution, please let me know so I can update that!  Sorry for the inconvenience.

Voting is below with smaller images for reference.  Vote now through midnight (eastern U.S. time) on Monday, October 21st.   The two winning mosaics with the most votes will be announced on Tuesday.

Good Luck Everyone!
