to make a twin-sized quilt?
I could never guess! This pile seems too small, but then I've been surprised before by how far scraps can stretch.
I keep my string scraps organized by color, just tossed in appropriate bins. Over time they end up tumbled and twisted about That means a project like this must start with a fair amount of pressing and trimming. Maybe I should be more organized, but - meh - strings are not my favorite scraps. Today I'm trimming these string scraps into widths from 1" to 3.5" wide, in neat 1/4" intervals.
